Description
These are some of the first words you hear as you start the game, just a little hint of how extraordinary this particular Dolphin really is.
Ecco witnesses his Pod (Family) taken up into the sky, in what appears to be a tornado, leaving him alone. He then sets out to find out where they went, only to discover a huge set of events are unfolding that will potentially end the world. Aliens, time travel, scary creatures, swimming through the sky and truly insurmountable odds are just some of what Ecco then must face. If you think videogame characters go through a lot, you've seen nothing until you play as Ecco.
The music is also one of the best things about the game, I listened to some as inspiration whilst drawing this. Eerie, enchanting and best of all for me, nostalgic. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJXiZp…
One of my favourite games from my childhood. Notoriously difficult, I could only ever get past the first few levels. I recently had the chance to complete it however when I re-bought it on the 360, and the second "The tides of time" on the WII. Really is a one of a kind game. If you missed this gem, I highly recommend playing it.
Basic sketch drawn onto paper, then colored in Gimp, using a mixture of a drawing tablet and a mouse. Roughly 3-4 hours work, enjoy.

That was one of my favorite games too. I think that we talk about this, but it has so much magic, so many intrigues and the music so spectacular. I remember I saw Ecco as ... more than a game, that I swerved to a very different world . And is that dolphins are incredible creatures, full of mysteries . The first two games are, without a doubt, my favorite.
I still remember "The Tides of Time" when crossed by a ring and showed Ecco swimming to an island. I will never forget that game that filled me with magic and a little scary to see these creatures.
Great job, Jade, i love the light on his head.
